Proper wear, cleaning, and storage habits are essential for achieving the best possible results throughout your treatment.

Invisalign Care & Wear Instructions:
1. Wear Your Aligners as Directed

Wear your aligners 20–22 hours per day.

Remove them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing.

Always remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything except plain water.

Consistent wear is important for effective tooth movement.

Change to your next set of aligners only as directed by your doctor.
2. Keep Teeth & Aligners Clean

Brush and floss your teeth before placing your aligners back in your mouth.

Clean teeth help prevent cavities, staining, and odors.

Rinse your aligners thoroughly before reinserting them.

Maintain good oral hygiene throughout your Invisalign treatment.

Regular cleaning helps keep trays clear and comfortable.
3. Clean Trays the Right Way

Do not use toothpaste to clean your trays.

Many toothpastes are abrasive and can scratch the plastic.

Soak your trays in hydrogen peroxide for about 10 minutes while brushing morning and night.

Use a soft toothbrush and water if buildup develops.

Invisalign cleaning crystals or retainer-cleaning tablets may be used if recommended.
4. Avoid Heat & Protect the Trays

Rinse aligners with cool or lukewarm water only.

Avoid hot water, which can warp the trays.

Always store aligners in their protective case when not in use.

Never wrap aligners in a napkin or tissue.

Proper storage helps prevent accidental loss or damage.
5. If Aligners Are Lost or Damaged

Keep your most recent previous set of aligners.

If your current trays are lost or damaged, wear the previous set temporarily.
